Thread: I’m a Volunteer that’s been working on Bernie’s campaign since he announced. I’m one of the million that signed up to volunteer & actually follows through. I’m terrified peoples bitterness, skepticism and pessimism will derail our chances of winning from what I’ve seen.

I fear seeing the number 1m volunteers made too many complacent because maybe 10% of that are actually volunteering. I fear that if you’re spending all day everyday attacking people on Twitter you think you’re helping but you’re wasting energy and hurting our eventual coalition.

If you make Yang/Tulsi supporters hate Bernie and not vote for him we will fail. If you don’t spend your time canvassing your friends, family and coworkers we will fail. I’ve been outside the Bernie bubble, I’ve canvassed strangers and loved ones. We don’t have this locked in.

How the campaign teaches us to represent them & how I see folks on twitter represent Bernie are complete opposites. PLEASE stop being a keyboard warrior and put in real work. If you have no tolerance for any with slight difference I doubt you’re bringing others into our movement.

I’ve observed leftists tear each other apart on here all damn year over the slightest differences, I’ve been caught up too. The Right is united around Trump. The only way we win is embodying Bernie, setting aside our egos, and welcoming/informing every single person we know.

It is crunch time, less than 100 days. Bernie’s camp is filled with the broken & struggling. I know if I go against the common concencus I won’t find love on Twitter. But, I’m applying for a position in the campaign and if y’all don’t want to hear this so be it. It’s the truth.

If you aren’t in an early state there’s a good chance there’s no field office near you or anyone to guide you. As a Canvasser let me tell you, friend to friend canvassing will be far more affective than door to door. Please get to work. We must win, everything is on the line.

Please put winning and coalition building over likes, RTs and dunking. Always fight back against the establishment and the highly paid Stooges that preserve it, not the voters that’ve been fooled by it. I say all this with love and I am fighting for you. #Bernie2020 #NotMeUs
