Pete has always said he supports the goal of Medicare for All and his plan is the best way to get there. *It even says that on our website!* BUT he wouldn't kick 150 million+ Americans off their health insurance in 4 years like some of his opponents... 2/
In the interview Justice Dems misleading clipped earlier from early February, Pete called "Medicare for All Who Want It" a road to get there. Something he says at nearly every campaign stop. 4/
Throughout this campaign, Pete has highlighted how there are "legitimate questions about the pathway to Medicare for All." Here he is from mid-February talking about how "the flavor that I prefer is what I would call Medicare for All Who Want It." 5/
So yes, of course Pete has defended Medicare for All as a "compromise position" + a goal. But he's also been clear from the beginning that the way he'd get there is NOT by taking away American's ability to chose what plan is best for themselves. 6/
There are plenty more transcripts I can post from throughout the campaign. But we all have better things to do than tweet.

Suffice to say: he's been consistent throughout this campaign and that's not an exaggeration. Here's a quote from when he announced his exploratory cmte 7/
Advice to our opponents: do your research and check our website next time before deciding to post a misleading tweet thread. 8/8
