I got a TT job & also tenure in a cross-appointment between 3 units, and in each collaborated with absolutely brilliant, very caring colleagues.

Hey, my last 10 years do not sound so unproductive.

I will also let you know, however, that nearly each day I get eaten by self-doubt. Some things I mess up very badly. I live with the perpetual regret that I don’t reach the level of work I’d really like to produce in my life.
