Been waiting to comment on this doctor issue I only have two points.

1. If you assault someone in the essential services you should go to prison.
2. If you cause disruption in the essential services risking the lives of people by your actions you should go to prison.

Simple.
No decent law abiding country would allow this sort of behaviour as reported.

1. Entering the private area is a breach of privacy of the patient.
2. Interrupting a health professional dealing with a patient puts the patients life at risk.

We need to stop excusing slackness.
Stories of police being prevented from doing their duty.

Teachers being assaulted.
Doctors being abused.
Nurses being abused.
Firemen.
Vector control officers.

If these people don’t feel free to do their jobs the impact will be massive.

We cannot excuse this behaviour.
I am very surprised at the people I see contorting themselves to excuse what was clearly out of order and inappropriate.

The health workers are in most cases doing their best under challenging circumstances.

Let them do their jobs.
