Obviously we’d want OSU at No. 1 still, but there are some bigger issues with the rankings that just don’t make sense... (thread)
Why is Clemson No. 3? They haven’t played a single ranked team. UCF ( @UCFStool) went undefeated two years in a row and played a couple ranked teams but was never even considered for the playoff. Why is there an exception for Clemson?

Reminder: “defending champs” does not matter.
Why is Georgia the highest-ranked 1-loss team? They lost to an unranked team at home. Oregon lost Week 1 to Auburn at the last second. Penn State lost to an undefeated Minnesota, away. Even Oklahoma’s loss was to a ranked Kansas State. The SEC bias is unreal.
Why is undefeated Baylor below Florida and Auburn but above Wisconsin and Michigan? All four of those teams have two losses. Why do we draw the line there? (Hint hint: it’s SEC bias)
Why is Texas No. 19? They lost to unranked TCU as well as LSU and Oklahoma and beat Kansas by 2 on a last-second field goal. Texas should not be ranked.
Why is Indiana unranked? They are 7-2 with one of their losses coming to OSU. There are four 3-loss teams in the rankings and *looks again* APP STATE? Indiana not being ranked is a travesty.
