#Bolivia #Fraud #Fraude
Due to the following news, I am going to start calling the election fraud in Bolivia "confirmed." We have a coherent narrative endorsed by both the chief electoral official and the OAS audit team…
As I described earlier, the OAS audit identified an unauthorized server, interruption of the rapid count, unreliable data put in the official count, and apparent over-voting in Argentina as fatal flaws in the vote. https://twitter.com/CarwilBJ/status/1193507008001040388
Following the November 10 audit report and the fall of Evo Morales, Supreme Electoral Tribunal President Maria Eugenia Choque Quispe was detained by police.
She also according to the same lawyer "mentioned names," presumably of those responsible either for executing these decisions or imposing them upon her. (same source)
The coinciding narratives of the OAS and TSE head Choque Quispe are strong evidence that fraud was committed. I for one will stop using "alleged" as a preface to describing electoral fraud in the October 20 election.
There has been a lot of Twitter debate about the nature of the coup/uprising/resignation, but very little about #Fraud/ #FraudeElectoral, and this is a vital issue for many Bolivians.
Also @MarkWeisbrot, you need to absolutely stop saying "they never presented any evidence at all." You evidently haven't followed the Bolivian press. @democracynow
