One thing I genuinely don't understand is why the Mueller Report doesn't contain real analysis related to the president's apparent false statements to investigators. He had all this information at the time of the report. So why just ignore it entirely?
Even if Mueller didn't think there was enough available evidence to make the case (which would ignore the strength of the record), why not address it as a possible count of obstruction the way he does all the others?
