Current inventory of Trump defenses:
• He didn't know it was a crime.
• Corrupt is the new normal.
• Various deflections:
◇ Attack witnesses
◇ Lie about or ignore facts
◇ Impeachment is unconstitutional
◇ nullifying 2016 vote / liberal coup
The point is that there is no available factual argument that it didn't happen, or that it was actually legal.

Arguably I left out:
• Trump didn't know the people around him were doing this.
But I think existing testimony boxes out that argument.

Did I miss anything else?
Let's go through these defenses.

"Didn't know it was a crime."

That ought to make him unfit to be the President. Especially since he should have learned that this was a crime from the Mueller investigation. This defense is essentially an argument that he's mentally unfit.
"Corrupt is the new normal."

The law doesn't matter, the Constitution doesn't matter, all using this defense are traitors to their oaths.
"Attack witnesses".

As I like to say, ad hominem attacks against you are a sure sign that you're winning.
"Lie about or ignore facts"

This seems most useful as general propaganda, reassuring their ignorant core that all is well.
"Impeachment is unconstitutional".

LOL. See above, traitors to their oaths.

"nullifying 2016 vote / liberal coup"

These are nothing more or less than dog whistles towards violent confrontation from Trump's core.
