With our first pick in the 500s (26.509), @RhysBWhite and I went for a bounce back arm with a new pitching coach in Jordan Montgomery. JMont put up a 3.88 ERA with 144 Ks in his rookie season in 2017 and heads into 2020 healthy for the first time since. High upside here #P365XDL

At 27.532 we took former Braves pitcher Lucas Sims. Impressed in short spurs in 2019 and has one of the nastiest curveballs in the league (see below). Also gets a full offseason with de facto pitching coach Trevor Bauer

Dodgers prospect Alex de Jesus was our pick at 28.549 as well as @RhysBWhite pick for breakout prospect of 2020. Convinced on name alone but I’ll never bet against the Dodgers getting the most out of a promising young hitter #P365XDL

At 29.572 @RhysBWhite and I went for Reds catcher prospect Tyler Stephenson. After a few injury plagued seasons he balled out at AA in 2019 and then hit another gear in the AFL. Big power and could be the Reds catcher of the future soon

With pick 30.589 @RhysBWhite and I went buy low with Johan Camargo. Very rough 2019 but turned it around before his late injury. 116 wRC+ in 2018 is probably the ceiling but this late in the draft, positional versatility and potential is always the play #P365XDL

Back to Atlanta again for 31.612. @RhysBWhite and I went for the best LHP prospect left on the board with the Braves’ Kyle Muller. High 90s heater and devastating secondaries and could find himself in a less crowded system as a major trade piece. Huge upside here #P365XDL
