Aside from the Prophets, and the Salaf , I have quite a lot, but I want to highlight six:
Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah
Shaykh Abdurahman Ibn Hassan Al-Jabarti
Shaykhul Islam Shah Waliullah Ad-Dehlawi
Judas Maccabeus
Yusuf Ibn Tashfin
Imam Ahmad Ibn Ibrahim Al-Ghazi https://twitter.com/LGTBVisigoths/status/1191697563809918977
There is so much to respect/love about Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah(رحمه الله), but what stands out for me is how much of a true polymath he was. His intellectual work covers many different topics from Politics, to Logic, all the way to Jurisprudence. (1/2)
Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah(رحمه الله) was also a great Mujahid who fought many times against the enemies of Islam from the Alawites to the Mongols whom he helped deal a significant blow to. He was also a man who was truly independent in his thought, and a great Zahid. (2/2)
Shaykh Abdurahman Ibn Hassan Al-Jabarti(رحمه الله) the inspiration for my account. He was a skilled Historian and also a great Sociologist in his own right. While many in Egypt where enamored with Napoleon, he was one of those who saw the dangers that French culture....

(aspects of it, and also Western culture at large) would have on Muslim society, and chastised those who wanted to import it such as ruler of Egypt Muhammad Ali Pasha. He was an intellectual ahead of time and someone we badly needed, and is an inspiration for me and others. (2/2)
Shaykhul Islam Shah Waliullah Ad-Dehlawi(رحمه الله), a giant of Knowledge and Ilm and in my humble opinion probably the best that Muslim Indian Scholarship has produced. He was a polymath, and someone who strove to follow the truth. (1/2)
Shaykhul Islam Shah Waliullah Ad-Dehlawi(رحمه الله) was a prolific author in addition to being an inspiration for many Ulema and Movements. He was also concerned for the situation of the Muslims in India, and was instrumental in the victory of the 3rd Battle of Panipat. (2/2)
Judas Maccabeus is aside from the Prophets and Righteous people of the Past Nations mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah is by far my favorite individual from the Israeliyat for what he and his family did. (1/2)
When the Seleucid Greeks where trying to force Bani Israel into Paganism, banning circumcision, sacrificing Pigs in Masjid Al-Aqsa etc. Judas Maccabeus and his family started a revolt which led tot he overthrow of the Greeks and the cleansing of idolatry from the land. (2/2)
Amir Yusuf Ibn Tashfin(رحمه الله), the one who flipped the tables on the Reconquista, and brought much needed unity to the Islamic Troops in Al-Andalus. He was also a man who helped re-ignite Islamic Orthodoxy in Al-Andalus and the Maghreb, he was also a great Statesman.
Imam Ahmad Ibn Ibrahim Al-Ghazi(رحمه الله) the man who nearly brought Abyssinia into the sphere of Darul-Islam. He was a master tactician and a great organizer uniting the various Muslim Ethnic groups in the Adal Empire and going on the offensive against the Abyssinian Empire.
There were many more, but these six I felt I needed to briefly highlight. I obviously purposely kept out the Prophets, and the Salaf as they would end up dominating the list, and are in a league of their own. With that being said this wraps up my thread I hope you enjoyed it.
