Since coming out as Republican:

• Cell # doxxed
• Business website attacked 4x
• Lost 2 major clients & countless individual projects
• 1 of my kids called a racist
• My kids lost friends in CA
• People threaten my wife and my kids

Remind me who the bigots & fascists are?

To be clear: I’m not a victim. If given the chance to go back I’d do it all over again. In fact I’d have come out as a Republican even sooner if I could go back. It made the illusions in life around who has your back very clear. It’s a cleansing process to know who really cares.

Another thing coming out as Republican has done: Made it explicitly clear why the 2nd Amendment is so important. Leftists over 3 years have said my wife & I should be killed with a guillotine, that she should be raped & graphically threatened my family. #2A = Freedom & Safety.

There’s more vile stuff that’s occurred since I came out as Republican. That list is just a list that fits in a tweet. You know what though? It led us to joy. We left California & now we live among the kindest people I’ve ever met. We’re more joyful than ever. Thank you haters.

Some people replied to this thread by saying sorry. Don’t be sorry. I’m full of joy since we left CA. All I wanted for myself was to be free, and I am. All I want is to be unapologetically me, and I am. No hater has the power to take joy from me. Don’t ever give them that power.
