i always see people complaining/warning for/criticizing mdzs for wwx’s noncon kink and never for the actual dubcon element which is bad (imo): that wwx keeps getting lwj drunk and fools around with him while he is drunk!

maybe people do criticize this & i just ignore all of those posts (lol) but i just saw a list of warnings for the novel with this not on it and this is WAY closer to triggering than wwx making an offhand comment about wishing LWJ had raped him

it’s just extremely fandom purity culture (TM) to warn for a character having a kink that involves consensual noncon instead of an actually really common IRL form of sexual assault

e.g. this: the only one of these to feature actual dubious consent between non-dream characters is just listed as “explicit content”
