OK. I'll start. That perfecting grammar will lead to automatic clarity in writing.
That having tenure position is the only way to gain any credibility in research.
That using Twitter and social media is a waste of time. It is great for community building if that's what you need from it. If you don't need that, don't judge those that do.
That non-tenured teaching focused institutions are somehow "lesser" than universities.
that it is liberal.... some of the people inside may be liberal politically... but the institution runs in a manner determined that it's structures and hegemony will never change
That creative work, is less credible and less worthy of academic credit than traditional research
That you should shut up until you reach **insert appropriate academic milestone here** because you'll jeopardize your career -- because you're pretty much shutting up at every stage then.
H-indexes and other like metrics are an indicator of quality work.
