Hussein’s interest in throwing off his Turkish overlords converged with Britain’s war aim of defeating the Ottomans.
That Kingdom actually become a reality and was called Kingdom of Hejaz (1916–1925)

The rulers of the Kingdom of Hejaz were the Hashemites who ruled Mecca for 900 years and were considered the guardians of two temples [very important task in Islam with global influences].

At this stage, the British were devoured by remorse [joking], so they decided to cut 77% of British Palestine's mandate and crone the Hashemite Abdullah I as compensation for his short life Kingdom.

It is important to understand that, although Kingdom of Hejaz had a population of 850k Bedouins

Then, after Britain 'cruel repression' that antagonized not only Arabs but Muslims around the world from as far away as India, where the Muslim League of all India adopted several resolutions denouncing the policy Palestine of Great Britain.

Summary of British Policies:
1) They promise a territory to the Hashemites and double-cross them after 9 years.

2) Pushed Wahhabism against Sunni orthodox Islam to divide and conquer.
3) Double cross the Jews, partitioned the mandate to compensate those from point (1)

4) Triple cross again the Jews by blocking the migrations of fleeing Jews.
5) After Israel was declared, UK armed, encouraged Arabs against Israel in 1948
