Labour has lost two candidates in Scotland over offensive/prejudiced comments https://twitter.com/GlennBBC/status/1192540832970215425?s=19
The Brexit Party has (quietly) lost 20 of those it has announced as candidates, often over support for the deal & concern for splitting pro-Brexit voters. https://twitter.com/GoodwinMJ/status/1191635205469151232?s=19
Also - more distinctly - over views about contact with aliens https://twitter.com/yorkshirepost/status/1190335195880116224?s=19
Another Brexit Party candidate quits over Brexit policy & strategy

I wonder if the party will replace all candidates who quit. (It would become harder if some decide to do so in the final 24-48 hours). https://twitter.com/christopherhope/status/1192571953565097997?s=19
The Conservatives have lost their candidate in Wakefield, a target seat for the party, over a wide range of comments in target seats https://twitter.com/Gabriel_Pogrund/status/1193229684089200640
The Labour candidate for Clacton has stood down, after responding to allegations of anti-semitism by saying that he did not realise that 'Shylock' was a Jewish character in using this label https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-50344324
A very unusual case in Jarrow, where over 20 Labour MPs appealed to the NEC not to nominate the candidate, who has now been selected, over a social media post showing threats of violence against Theresa May.

Brexit Party has lost several candidates over Brexit. Not clear how many/whether it will replace them all by Friday https://twitter.com/ecadams/status/1193549601564958720?s=19
The LibDems have lost their Thurrock candidate over racist social media messages https://twitter.com/guardian/status/1194039013218361344?s=19
The LibDems have ditched a recently selected candidate, Rob Flello, in Stoke, over his past voting record in parliament as a Labour MP. (Screening an ex-MP might be thought rather an easier task than candidates who have never sat in parliament). https://twitter.com/SOPH_C_/status/1194337129108664320
The shortest-lived election 2019 candidacy of them all https://twitter.com/sundersays/status/1194394475180822528?s=19
After nominations have closed, but the Conservatives have dropped their Aberdeen North candidate over anti-semitism, anti-Muslim prejudice and homophobic social media comments. (the party, placed 3rd, had little chance in the seat). https://twitter.com/MrDanDonoghue/status/1196548094558638085?s=19
The LibDems have now suspended a candidate, Waheed Rafiq in Birmingham Hodge Hill, for anti-semitic posts revealed by Buzzfeed. He also appears to be pro-Assad and pro-Trump, and previously stood as the Ukip candidate in the same constituency in 2010. https://twitter.com/alexwickham/status/1197167717503123456
Labour has withdrawn support for its candidate in Falkirk, over anti-Semitic social media posts. (The candidate will appear on ballot papers) https://twitter.com/PolhomeEditor/status/1199965258938507264?s=19
The SNP has suspended a candidate over anti-semitism, in Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath, again too late for ballot papers https://twitter.com/STVColin/status/1200099111636283392?s=19
As that is a hyper-marginal seat (won by 259 votes by Labour over the SNP), this is the first late suspension over a candidate who had a strong chance of being elected. How that is communicated to SNP voters in the constituency is a challenge
More from the BBC. YouGov had projected an SNP gain from Labour in this seat, so the party has a challenge to communicate that it does not want supporters to bank the former candidate
This from @BallotBoxScot on the 2017 result. Pro-independence voters have one alternative in the Scottish Green Party now that there is no official SNP candidate https://twitter.com/STVColin/status/1200099111636283392?s=19
Other suspended candidates who will appear on the ballot paper.

Suspended SNP candidate Neale Hanvey has made this publicstatement, apologising for past statements, and accepting the party's decision to suspend him. (He has not made any statement on who either he or the party will support in the constituency, if anyone).
The clarity of this apology is welcome. One thing that various future inquiries could explore is a credible process for rehabilitation - working with relevant civic/faith groups inside parties and beyond. (I think this one of the weakest elements of current practice and culture).
