November 7, 1966
Parliament House, Delhi.

It is long pending demand in India for a rule on complete Ban of Cow-Slaughter. Even the constitution mentions in it's directive principles.

On this day, 1966 around 3-7 Lakh people (based of diff. estimate) gathered in Delhi peacefully
They demand a complete Ban on cow-slaughtering.

Indira Gandhi was PM & Gulzarilal Nanda was HM of India. On a fact note even the party symbol of Indira had Cow in it and thus people had hope in her.

Indira, a born dictator refused outrightly to one of the most massive protest.
People were firm, they sat on fast. Most of them were sadhus and sanyasis.

People were not ready to move away from demand.

As always what Indira does, she ordered lathi charge and police open fired on Protestors.

Govt just censored press to report anything in this issue.
Nanda resigned. Govt out of compulsion admitted of 7 killed who were well-known but real number vary from 375 to 5000 as per the estimate given by insiders in protest.

Journalist Man Mohan Sharma if Hindustan Samachar told goon were called by Indira to...
Goon of Indira became part of Protest they made the protest violent and attacked parliament security and left.

All was as per Indira's plan. Now she as clear opportunity to call for Police action.

Man Mohan Sharma accepted this in 2016 as his reports were censored that time.
Today is the anniversary of one of the biggest Massacre hindus independent India.

@BJP4India, then Jan Sangh and @RSSorg were leading and supporting protest.

I hope @narendramodi & @AmitShah Govt. soon bring in a law to put complete 100% Ban on cow-slaughtering.
