Christ, have some kid do a bedtime prayer with daemons in place of souls if it’s that important to explain

Also where the fuck are everyone who isn’t a named character’s daemons hiding

No seriously the crowd shots are embarrassingly empty of daemons

I guess every adult in Oxford settled on a cricket or a midge or maybe a flea of some kind, which is extremely lucky for the budget of this show, otherwise they’d have to spend a lot on animation

this is ... not great so far

The daemon thing is pretty egregious, people are just shot without them anywhere nearby and if that’s a major, major part of the worldbuilding it’s gonna throw me every time it happens

if you can’t afford to shoot a story how it’s supposed to be shot, don’t bother, is the moral here
