Seriously thinking I should just tweet about dealing with broken stuff around the house since that occupies 80% of my non-work hours. The struggle is real.
The microwave just blew up.
The raspberry pi model b v1 that has been running dutifully for 7 years, texting me if the garage door is open and adjusting the humidifier based on outside temperature, appears to have a blown network port.
The raspberry pi works just fine with a clean raspbian install. Guess I will just rebuild the homeautomation stuff on this. Was overdue for an upgrade anyway.
I have been informed the handheld shower head in the master bath is broken.
Dishwasher hose is leaking.
The LG app that connects to the fridge has notified me that it has not made ice for a while. Icebox totally frozen up.
The blower on the furnace is making a squeaky sound when the heat runs long enough.
So the new toilet that replaced the old toilet that wasn't filling properly, is flushing too well and siphoning off water from the tub ptrap. Can hear noises from the sewer! Something not right with the venting.
2 of the 4 slots in the toaster no longer toast.
The central vacuum stopped working.
