Why you need to have atleast one doctor who is your friend..!

It not a common culture in our African families to have a family doctor, it is perceived “rich people’s thing”
But your healthy might take a different leap if you consider to have a doctor who will be dealing with your health and family health at large.

1. History of disease is one one the most important part of treatment, having a doctor who know well your history will save you from forgeting some important details of your disease.
If you have atleast one doctor who is dealing with your family, it can save you a lot.

2. They can monitor well progress of some chronic conditions, and they can be one call away from your help.
Diseases like heart disease and other chronic diseases need someone who is aware of condition, medications and side effects of certain drugs that you shouldnt use

3. Detect early onset of some diseses. Most of cancer patients seek help when it too late, because they ignore some alaming symptoms on onset.
Having a family dictor can save you, easily detect such symptomps in anual check up and close follow ups.
We all need a doctor friend

4. Save money.!
Being sick is costfull especially when it is in severe condition,having such doctor will help detect early and save you from admissions and some surgeries.

5. They can easily link you up with specialist.
At some point we all need specialist intervention, most of time these specialist have a lot of people to see and might take a while to attend you, but having a family doctor might easily link you up

6.They can have enough time with you, advice you on healthy lifestyle and do follow up

7. Cars go for service for them to function well, and usually we prefer one mechanic who knows it better the body need check up regurally, and having one doctor for that is a good approach

Imagine your kids being attended by one person from their childhood up to their adulthood.
