Combining frac sand mine land today. Crazy story, I am uploading video.

Mine started about 4 years ago buying land and built rail site for trucks hauling in from other mines
2 years ago they started construction on processing and a mine site here. supposed to be one of biggest
They worked 24/7 for 6 months to get up and running. At one time 15 cranes were on site setting equipment. I counted 24 D8,9,10s on site, as well as 20 some scrapers, lites to run all night. Ripped frozen ground. Haul trucks, everything, millions of yards of dirt moved
Neared completion work starts slowing. Still lots of stuff to be set up. Sits idle now. 1700 acres. We farm 40 of it. Guy who did all the leg work buying land is long gone. Ownership is about 6 different shell companies that dead end. My rent check goes to a strip mall in Texas.
They haven't cashed a rent check in 2 years. Didn't even mail them one this year, lol. I get it's peanuts to them. I am sure it is owned by an oil company, but they hide it well.

With economics of fracing I actually wonder if it will ever run now.

100s and 100s of millions $
And it sits empty and idle. Not even complete.

Stacking conveyors are 120-130 feet tall, can see them from almost every acre we farm.
