Once upon a time, a little over ten years ago, I was lost. Lost and angry. I had just reported to a new duty station where I had to work with both the NSA and the CIA and a friend (and fellow Navy officer) said "hey, you should watch this show #Chuck!"

I thought it was kind of funny because honestly there are not a lot of places where Navy, NSA and CIA play nice with each other, so I told Al (yes, his name is really Al) I'd give it a try.

And of course the character with whom I most identified was @AdamBaldwin's Casey. And before y'all give me shit, yes I'm saying Navy, and yes I know he played a Marine, but we're two services and one department so take a breath. Anyway...

I followed @AdamBaldwin, and through him found amazing people like @thekelliejane, @AndrewBreitbart, @LarryOConnor, @garysteveneaton, @MushKat, and literally thousands of others, some of whom I like, many of whom I just like to argue with ;-) but most importantly...

I met lots of y'all in real life. You met my son. You told him his career interests were viable. He suddenly had more than a dozen mentors. I wasn't alone. I wasn't angry. I had hope. I took orders to San Diego. I started funding short films because they brought me joy.
