NEW: Plot twist.... turns out that the mysterious “fair tax campaign” ad banned by Facebook today for violating its political advertising rules was placed by a longstanding former Boris Johnson aide, Alex Crowley, who was working in Number 10 for PM as recently as 5 weeks ago...
Campaign was registered at Companies House and website created a fortnight after Mr Crowley, who has worked with the PM for many years and wrote a book about Mayoral campaign, left Number 10 at end of September this year...

Labour sending very general untargeted messages using lists uploaded by data company Experian:
Conservatives targeting first wave of ads at Labour leave marginals -telling individuals in the relevant seats they personally can “get brexit done” - though occasionally with less than laser precision - this ad for Wirral West ended up in Clitheroe, Lancashire...
