My piece for @TheEconomist on the cyber-attack on India's Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (though importantly not its control systems), touching on some of the wider issues around vulnerabilities in nuclear and other critical national infrastructure
An intriguing suggestion from @tjaplant: "there are several plausible reasons why North Korea might take an interest in Kudankulam in particular ... [it] has been building an experimental light-water nuclear reactor, which may be similar to India’s and be approaching start-up."
To clarify: as the piece makes clear, that is not a direct quote from @tjaplant, who made very clear that there were plenty of unknowns in this hypothesis. That is me paraphrasing.
