Neolithic shoes likely came in all shapes & sizes. There were, however, some common design features and trends.

It's important to consider that most folk would likely have been barefoot for at least half of the year as shoes are precious commodities
One such common shoe may have been the bast fiber shoe. Fibers from plants and tree bark can be spun and bound into a shoe. I made one a while back. Mine was a sandal, but they can also wrap around the foot like a pair of modern flats
Another form of shoe is a simple folded leather shoe, similar to the North American moccasin.

These are soft and made of pieces of leather simply sewn together. They're comfortable it's really cold. Notice Ember at night with her bow wearing a pair
And who could forget the leather sole with corded frame, stuffed with dried grass? This sort of shoe was worn by Otzi the Iceman. I somehow doubt that he meant to go into the mountains wearing a shoe like this, but that is where they found him.
