Meet Phemus “Box of Dirt” Apocalyptica, my gorgeous new Mecynorrhina polyphemus confluens! Now that he’s come out of hiding, I’ve set him up with some sticks and a bit of banana.

Cats are EXTREMELY INTERESTED in all the commotion, but cannot get to where his enclosure is. SO FRUSTRATING FOR CATS.
