Hi TechTwitter, why/how did you pick the current tech field you’re in right now?
How did you decide to learn/focus on .NET or Java, why choose backend and not Frontend?? Tell us!!

I’m asking this so newbies can read replies and perhaps be able to make a decision from it.

Did you choose your current field because: #
That’s what’s in vogue?
That’s what your mentor does?
That’s what the resource (laptop and course) can support.
That’s the easiest way to get cash.
You had a passion for it.
University prompted it.

A lot of us in Africa are into web, that’s because it’s easy to learn with your mobile phone and a laptop of 2gb RAM will work perfectly for web.
And also, a lot of free resources are available.

But I’ll really love to change this, support folks into other fields. AI, ML, .NET
