🔥🥊

This thread will cover some of the most thrilling rounds in boxing history 1-12

We will start this off with Round 1 and I’m sure that you will all agree with my choice

1985
Caesars Palace, Las Vegas
Marvin Hagler v Tommy Hearns
Round 1 🔥
Round 2 🔥

There were a few in mind for Round 2 🤔

Bradley v Provodnikov (War)
Foreman v Frazier (Foreman stops Frazier who shows the heart of a champion)

1993
Sports Arena, San Diego, California
Terry Norris v Troy Waters
Round 2 🔥
Round 3 🔥

In recent times we’ve had Joshua v Ruiz but I had a tough choice with the below 🤔

Marquez v Vasquez 2
Holyfield v Cooper

I had to go with the latter when Bert so nearly became world champ

1991
The Omni, Atlanta
Evander Holyfield v Bert Cooper
Round 3 🔥
Round 4 🔥

This was an easy choice for me. Two big heavyweights throwing leather with both men hitting the canvas!

1976
Caesars Palace, Las Vegas
George Foreman v Ron Lyle
Round 4 🔥
Round 5 🔥

This was another no brainer for me. The first meeting of these two Mexican legends did not disappoint and what a rivalry they had!

2000
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas
Erik Morales v Marco Antonio Barrera
Round 5 🔥
Round 6 🔥

I must give an honourable mention to De La Hoya v Quartey but Marvelous Marvin Hagler becomes the first man to appear twice in yet another action packed round!

1986
Caesars Palace, Las Vegas
Hagler v Mugabi
Round 6 🔥
Round 7 🔥

There were a few for me to think about for round 7 including

Gatti v Ward 3
Holyfield v Foreman

But I’ve gone with the final fight in the career of ‘Chiquita’

1995
Great Western Forum, Inglewood
Humberto Gonzalez v Saman Sorjaturong
Round 7 🔥
Round 8 🔥

The second meeting of two absolute warriors battling for the WBC light heavyweight title

1980
Great Gorge Playboy Club, New Jersey
Matthew Saad Muhammad v Yaqui Lopez
Round 8 🔥
Round 9 🔥

Do I really need to write a thing?

Real boxing fans know!!!!

Round 9... that is all 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Round 10 🔥

“You gotta fucking get inside on him now”

2005
Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas
Diego Corrales v Jose Luis Castillo
Round 10 🔥
Round 11 🔥

Another thrilling round for these two Mexican warriors in the third and final fight of their fantastic rivalry

2004
MGM Grand, Las Vegas
Erik Morales v Marco Antonio Barrera 3
Round 11 🔥
Round 12🔥

This was tough and here are a few I could of gone with

Froch v Taylor
Chavez v Taylor
Morales v Pacquiao

This however is my favourite

2003
Foxwoods Resorts, Connecticut
James Toney v Vassiliy Jirov
Round 12🔥
