Rereading the original Batwoman graphic novel since the show was so shit and I forgot just how striking the art was.

Also Kate takes no shit from nobody. lol

I have forgotten just how good her reason was to become Batwoman. Inspired by Batman but ultimately trying to find her purpose.

What an actual great character moment between the both of them.

Kate actually trained and her father created her suit. It is a much better way for her to get her own than stealing Bruce's.

And the icing on the cake. I had forgotten just how good this introduction is and allows her to stand apart from Bruce.

The complex gambit of emotions between Kate and her father are just the best in this book.
