What Capricorn Moon needs to be emotionally fulfilled:
Capricorn Moon was born to a mother who most likely had a form of post partum depression after birth. This caused their mother to be emotionally disconnected and unable to fully form a bond with baby Capricorn Moon.
This left Capricorn Moon feeling subtly or very obviously emotionally estranged from their mother. Once older Capricorn Moon’s mother may try to understand them but there’s a disconnect that neither of them want, but it’s like an invisible wall between Capricorn Moon and mom.
Capricorn Moon craves comfort, but they don’t necessarily feeling COMFORTABLE with receiving comfort (especially emotional) from others. Innately, they feel like they don’t deserve to be nurtured. This is due to the lack of emotional nurturing they received as infants.
Because of this belief, Capricorn Moons are often mean to themselves. They scold themselves and criticize themselves and leave very little room for empathy and compassion. Capricorn Moons don’t understand how to have an emotionally supportive inner dialogue.
This is because Capricorn Moon has become adjusted to feeling emotionally unsupported. Their emotional needs were never shown to be of importance whether this was intentional or unintentional. Capricorn Moon has basically learned to do without and be without. It feels natural.
Once Capricorn moon gets older their go to method of comfort becomes sex or a substance. Emotional understanding and nurturing feels awkward to Capricorn Moon and they can subconsciously sabotage the relationships that make them feel emotionally fed and secure.
They self sabotage by either closing off or becoming overly needy, not allowing the person who’s feeding them to breathe. This is because Capricorn Moon’s survival instincts get triggered.
So they either run away (flight) or they try to cling as hard as they can to keep the person weeping.(fight). Both reactions are unbalanced and ultimately jars the people who get close to them.
Then of course, Capricorn Moon gets stressed, talks mean to themselves and repeat the cycle. They always end up feeling emotionally starved.
So... what Capricorn Moon needs to be emotionally fulfilled is firstly, acknowledge the (emotional) gap between them and their mom. There’s a lot of pain in this gap and it needs to be processed so that they can make room for good feelings.
Pain is something Capricorn Moon was born into and they grew up with it. More than any other emotion, pain is the most familiar.
Once this pain is acknowledged and processed (which can take time) Capricorn Moon has to ALLOW themselves to enjoy other emotions without looking for it to be taken away from them. Capricorn Moon has to learn to break the cycle of pain.
Then, they have to break the cycle of emotional malnourishment. The way Capricorn Moon does this is to RELEARN INNER DIALOGUE. Be NICE, be PATIENT, hold yourself ACCOUNTABLE WITHOUT PUNISHMENT. Learn to be good to you without it feeling weird.
Then when it comes to others emotionally fulfilling Capricorn Moon they just need to be understood. That’s it. Work to listen to Capricorn Moon and what they’re REALLY saying. All they want is to be seen. And they just need you to be ok with what you see. Unconditional love.
