kinda have to start this out with possibly my favorite intro of all time. makes me tear up, I neeeed more organ in pop music like that's just a NEED. this is why I freak out whenever I hear the organ

The second chorus of this song is always playing in the back of my mind, from the synths' melody conveying tragic emotion to her vocal pattern jumping up and down like it's dancing

this intro shook me so much as a child bc it was so heavy, especially when paired with the music video (which i used to watched on repeat)

another example of the organ, that organ just ELEVATES the energy and emotion overall chilé.... especially during a climax/bridge. no words again x

This wailing synth that comes in on the last chorus of 2099. This moment gives me a massive physical reaction in my body. It's eerie, grim and so, so beautiful. in my head I envision a very specific scene of death that then brings rebirth

The production style they decided to go with on this is just as interesting as the melodies and harmonies themselves I mean it's all so refreshing [redacted 60's part bc it's from the 80's]
