Perception

There is reality there is perception. More often than not, both seem to be different. But difference does not mean fake or illusion.

Perception is always from the outside and it can be cultivated as much as reality can be shaped.

Perception well utilized and deliberately cultivated can be a powerful force in shaping reality.
Reality is vague just as perception is ephemeral. It's vague because it is often premised on the kind of glasses you have on.
What constitutes reality is even more contentious. Because there is no metric to determine what is real and what is not. The occurrence of a thing may be real but your narration of the occurrence is contentious.
Essentially because your narration of it tends to be different from that of others even though it is of same occurrence. And narration matters, in fact, it is the essence of where the world is right now.
Perception in our world though is of high importance.

Perception is the lens through which you are seen. It is the essence of expectations placed on you.
To downplay perception on the pretence of "I don't care" is to deny the very essence of all sapiens (being a social being).

Perception matters.
The ability to engineer perception to suit your purpose and reality is the height of mastery and influence. Engineering perception is a long term game sustained on the consistency of pursuit.
The engineering process of perception has some incontestable element in it...

1. Communication - you must constantly communicate with your audience in order to have their minds shaped and bent to your expectations.
2. Character - your character must be consistent and somewhat predictable on some fronts.

3. Courage - you must be ready to always take leaps when necessary.
These engineering dimensions are not opened to question else, you will have a distorted perception paradigm.
