Okay, I rewatched & screen capped a few things that really bothered me in the #Sanditon finale (I don't mean the bitter end, although that still bothers me )...

First of all, Mary.

#Sidney & #Charlotte meet for the 1st time after Sydney's statement (or conversation as he called it ). Look at Mary, she knows what's going on, and she encourages them.

Next stop is the preparation for the ball, same day that evening. Mary knows how important that ball will be for Charlotte and compliments her. I would say, they are both full of anticipation.

Mary and Charlotte have a conversation, about proposing (at a ball ), and love.

Mary acting all giddy & definitely knows what is about to happen.

Second is Babbers. He also knows what the plans are for this evening. This is not 'reading between the lines'. They both know who they love, and both will propose at this ball. Babbers calling Sidney old friend... That's what friends are for...

Another male bonding moment between old friends at the ball (besides throwing Edward out together)

This was a long way of saying that both Mary & Lord Babington knew for sure that Sidney would propose to Charlotte at the ball. It's absolutely weird we never saw them adress this later, when everything went to sh*t. Mary not re feelings, Babbers not re money.

Then we have fierce Diana Parker, after the fire and Tom's confession about not being insured
'We are Parkers', gosh, it sounds like The Spopranos...
I was very curious what WE were going to do. Cause WE will find a way...

So, while Sidney is working has ass of in London, the rest of the Parkers are doing... naught!

THE rub it in moment *insert middle finger*

They hear Sidney is going to marry Eliza. It's a WEEK after the ball & Mary doesn't give a fig about Charlotte & the proposal? Arthur said at the regatta he wouldn't trust Eliza again? No comment? Tom knowing S's 10 years misery?

As a picture person, I have to admit it's beautifully shot: it's The Parkers against Charlotte 5-1

What the hell was this editing? We go from utter heartbreak to happy pappy. [For once I didn't mind the commercial break to get myself together].
It wasn't fair to both storylines imo.

FFS, how many days, weeks or months does it take to organise a simple country wedding? Seeing jolly Sidney, Charlotte AND Eliza... My brains couldn't keep up
So this must have been a few months later?
It looked like the makers randomly edited the wedding in.

Besides that, not enough #MrCrowe (never enough). Crowe is one of Babbers closest friends and was very opinionated about #Esther. We heard him comment during courtship, but when it got serious, not a word! There must be a loads of delted scenes on the DVD

Forgot this moment, where in fact #Charlotte saves the day, and talks #LadyD around to give them a week.

Why did *none* of The Parkers trusted her & included her? Tom once said "where would we be without you Charlotte". In prison my guess. Look at them!
