I’m astonished by the amount of people attempting to whitewash Turkey’s historic and modern crimes claiming “Ottomans were different”

The Turkish regime never recognized its atrocities against the people of our region like Germany did with the Jews.
Neo-Ottomanists like Erdogan take pride in their Ottoman ancestors and their bloody policies.
It is therefore irrelevant to claim they are “different entities”
