The Deobandi elders and takfir: is there a safe route?

VERY important thread -
Question:
Related to denying the takfir of the Deobandi elders, what is meant by "those who understand and accept the kufr?"

Question continues...
I have read the works of Ashraf Ali Thanvi and deem some of it blasphemy, but that is where I leave it. I also read the works of Imam Ahmad Rida Khan and I agree with him.
Is there no safe route that we can take? Like affirming their kufr but not calling them kafiŕ because their matter is with Allah?
Answer: Over the past 100 years, scholars of the Ahlus Sunnah have proven over and over again that there's no ta'weel to their statements of kufr.
Any ta'weel that is made still constitutes kufr, hence the fatwa has been issued that whoever understands the statement and doesn't regard it as kufr, he becomes a kafir. The kufr is clear cut. Deobandis have tried to defend the statements and every defense turns out to be kufr.
Ashraf Thanvi wrote two works himself, trying to defend Hifz al-Iman: Bast al-Banaan and Taghyeer al-Anwaan; both these works only reconfirmed his kufr. Every ta'weel he tried to make of that initial statement, ended up being kufr anyway; the same goes for the others statements
Other statements made by people such as Ismail Dehlawi - ta'weel can be made there, even though it is ba'eed (far-fetched/a stretch).
The difference between Kufr Muta'ayyin and Kufr Mutabayyin is that in the latter the statement is kufr, but there is a far-fetched explanation/interpretation which isn't kufr. Now, because it is far-fetched, the fuqaha say he becomes a kafir, but the mutakallimoon
refrain from doing takfir. The madhhab of the mutakallimoon is what Imam Ahmad Rida Khan followed regarding Ismail Dehlawi, i.e. it is Kufr Mutabayyin.
The issue with the 4 Deobandi elders is that their kufr was Muta'ayyin, not Mutabayyin. There was no ta'weel, no matter how far-fetched (ba'eed).
Therefore, the hukm according to the scholars of Fiqh and Kalaam is that the one who utters a statement which is Kufr Muta'ayyin, is a kafir. Because of that, whoever reads and understands their statements and doesn't think they are kafir, becomes a kafir himself.
This is why there is no `safe option` and it isn't permissible to say that there is a potential escape route.
If something like this were said today and we're hesitant - wondering if there is ta'weel (ba'eed or qareeb); some explanation; or escape route from doing takfir - then maybe he wouldn't be kafir. A 100 years, however, have passed and every explanation has been exposed to be kufr
DISCLAIMER: Deobandi laity and graduates who are unaware; haven't read the actual statements in urdu; or have been read tampered statements, are not kafir. Only those who have read and understood the statements of the elders and do not believe it is kufr, are kafir.
