I was a practicing trial atty, when, in 2011 I was bitten by a tick.
I wasn't treated/ diagnosed for 11 mos-despite a trip to the MAYO clinic.
B4 the #ACA, we went through our life savings on my medical care.

I was eventually diagnosed w/E. Chaffeensis, Rickettsia of unknown origin, & #Lyme.
The bacteria went to my spinal cord & brain.
Treatment was too late.
I've had 8 spinal taps so far...
I'm in #ChronicPain
I also caught Coxsackie B4 virus, a cousin of polio.

During one of my hospitalizations, I caught Vanc-resistant C. Difficile. I fought it for 3.5 yrs but had to have 2 FM transplants to save my intestines/ life.
Now, I need EnteraGam to be able to DIGEST food.

Bc of the Coxsackie B4 virus & post viral sydrome + "tick bite" syndrome ( #Lyme), I've lost most use of my left side. (I'm left-handed) 
I use a wheelchair/walker/cane, depending on my pain & balance.
My now 78-year-old mom loads/unloads my walker. She's exhausted.

She's my best friend and caregiver. She helps me bathe/dress; she cooks, cleans, does the laundry, budgets as best she can.

Here's some proof of my story.
I see my Infectious Disease Dr every 3 mos (since 2012).
I have 2-3 Dr apots/wk + aqua therapy (I've already gone for a yr) & Physical Therapy.
My mom has to drive me to all of them.

It lasts about 2 weeks.
I am on a medically prescribed FODMAP diet.
I can't eat 90% of things at food pantries bc it's all beans & rice.
