To me @MI_Abaga is the G.O.A.T of the African Hip-Hop scene. My by far favorite rapper. Never ever disappointed. Not even once. Not even in his recent diss track to a certain upcoming rapper.

This thread contains his discography, Tag a Fan old/new.

The first ever time i heard of MI was on "Crowd Mentality". I was just a young music lover and writer who listened to the likes of Dbanj, 9ice and Terry G then. I didn't even like Rap. But i loved this song cos of the truth in it.

Then he went ahead to drop "Safe" then i was in boarding school, I and my classmates always run to the school dining to watch "Safe" when it was showing on TV and then sing along. The song was just simply amazing.

Boom! His first album. Then i couldn't get it. Didn't stop me from listening to songs like "Anoti", "Short Black Boy", "Teaser", "Talk about it", and "Blaze" on radio

This album also introduced us to artist like @generalpype and @wizkidayo for the very first time ever.

General Pype went on to become a star with his hit single "Champion" and you obviously know Wizkid.

Till Today that album is a classic and Anoti is still a jam!!

This album was our entire life then, me and my friends. Jam the album back to back. The firrst album i bought with my money (after this i bought "Talk about it" "Jagz of all trades" and "Everybody Loves Iceprince")

I can recite the lyrics of every song even the prelude #Nojokes

And then came some certain boys that were trying to diss MI then. As we later learned. MI ended their careers.

But it seem like a certain upcoming rapper did not learn

The Illegal Music 2 was MI's second mixtape.

To me, this is the best rap project ever from africa. I've mentioned it before and MI was trying to mention other albums.

Many albums were musically better. But if we are talking about bars, IM2 is the greatest.

Illegal Music 2 influenced me so much to be the rapper I am today. If you rap, you can never listen to this mixtape and be the same, not just possible. I literally learnt to be better on this mixtape.
