Okay so...

1.) This is out of context duh. This being Big Mouth, there is probably a scene later in the season where a Mexican food assigned burrito at birth reveals it's a trans taco, then everybody sings a song called "Trans Tacos Are Tacos" so we learn the proper lesson.
2.) Even if later context improves the scene, sharing this sans context provides an inherently transphobic explanation of bi versus pansexuality.
3.) Being pan is framed as being attracted to men, women, and trans people. But, like, "trans person" is not a gender. I am a LADY.

If it were somehow "there are many expressions of gender, and I find all attractive," fine, but then you couldn't make a taco joke.
4.) There are different definitions of panaexuality, but the one pan people have shared with me most is that they are attracted to people regardless of gender expression. Men, women, non-binary, and beyond.

These definitions are always personal! Don't take my word as gospel.
5.) Please stop asking me to explain to you why this scene is bad out of context. Google exists.
6.) Does anybody in lower Manhattan want tacos?
