According to the Approver Badge, on 17 January 1948, Nathuram Godse went to have a last audience with Savarkar.

While Badge waited outside, Nathuram and Apte went in.

On coming out Apte told Badge that Savarkar blessed them "Yashasvi houn ya".

Kapur Commission was provided with evidence not produced in the court; especially the testimony of two of Savarkar's close aides – Appa Kasar, & Gajanan Vishnu Damle.

The testimony of Kasar & Damle was already recorded by Bombay police but not presented before the court.

In these testimonies, it is said that Godse and Apte visited Savarkar on or about 23 or 24 January, which was when they returned from Delhi.

Damle deposed that Godse & Apte saw Savarkar in mid January & sat with him (Savarkar) in his garden and had a long discussion.

The Kapur commission did not re-interview Digambar Badge even though Badge was alive and working in Bombay.

Independent corroboration to Savarkar’s part in the conspiracy came in 1970 after his death.

So had he been alive he most probably would have been convicted.

So just because a bunch of uninformed and mislead fools worship him today, a coward and criminal like Savarkar WILL NOT become a hero.
