Find him and see if he can make prosthetic mechanical limbs. The local blacksmith has lost his arm in a tragic accident.

The players must convince a look alike to finish the job.

A priest has convinced a town that a specific human sacrifice must be given to appease a sea monster. He really wants to steal her inheritance.
Convince them switch the preist with her at the last minute or unearth his plans.
The orc tribes in the area have lost the peace making queen. Two brother war for the throne.
Can you convince them to join the two tribes together?
A wizard had a dream to make a confectionery factory to nke everyone happy. He finally perfected his recipes, but died- only to become a liche due to something he atem He makes magical candy, but nobody wants to buy food products from a liche.

The wolf was a human who deank the cursed water and is trying to stop them drinking it.
Same sex lovers from two warring factions want to elope to a city where the temple performs same sex unions. One of them is dying and they want to be together in the afterlife.

Escort them and fend off their families.
A djinn wants a nicer bottle to live in.
A senile old halfling with a magic ring that makes him never age but turns him invisible has wandered off.

His family are worried about him.

Turns out he is having the time of his life on another adventure.
A giant wants to get married but needs treasure that will impress her boyfriends father as is custom in their society.

Help her find something big enough and she will reward you
A goddess who has been exploring the realm has become trapped in human form by a wicked god. Nobody beleives her, and think she is mad.

A benevolent beholder has cataracts causing its spells to misfire. Help get it to a healer for treatment.

Legend says whoever pulls the sword from the stone will be the right and true king of the realm.
Princes have arrived for a yearly festival to try their hand only to find the sword missing.

A little girl just pulled it out the night before.
Murdark, a malicious greedy demon has taken over the printing press in town and is spewing out hateful misinformation. Turns out all the presses in all the towns are under his spell.

Convince the towns that the printed word is not fact and end the demons campaign of lies
The robber barons running a city are blaming their crimes on half orc populations displaced from orc communities by an orc purist warlord.
Help defend the half orcs from mobs and reveal who the real culprits are
The queen is coming to visit and the locals want to impress her. However the villagers are all elderly, their all but children slain in war decades ago.
The pcs efforts are thwarted at every turn, but a kind woman helps them all along.

She is revealed as the queen in disguise.
A grim melancholic ancient vampire rules over the misty realms from a castle. Villagers are terrified of him

Turns out he isn't a vampire, but dresses in bat clothes to fight crime in their streets.

He is just shy and doesn't like taking credit.
Help him track down whatever is draining blood from villagers.
A mute mermaid seeks to break a spell so she can court the local prince.

Convince her that she is an independent, strong woman and he is an abusive douchebag and teach her how to write.

Tips: turn off XP for killing things unless it a)protects someone b)is the quest

Making people happy gives XP.

Villagers give you rewards, healing potions, food and magic items.
Tips: deities reward those who help their followers with boons to the players. Strength bonuses and hit dice magically appear whilst in their favor
Tips: giving away treasure gives you xp.
Tips: ensure knocking out creatures is easier than killing them in your mechanics.

Slowing creatures down with wounds allows players to escape. Half HP is half speed, quarter is quarter speed.
TIP: guilt is powerful. Having little loved ones mouring the monster/village militia they killed may get them to take them to a healer.

TIP: introduce a kindly town healer early.
TIP: be gay. Do crimes.
I just love that I may have helped summon the warm fuzzies around so many tables worldwide.
Wow. This took off a bit.
A goose is loose in the village and is causing mayhem. Catch the goose.

Unfortunately some of they mahem included swallowing a magic ring that contained a mischief spirit that knows how to cast spells.

They dress up and pretend to be the players. Even behaving badly if they players did.

Unfortunately they have gone off to do the same missiom you did last time.

Rescue the children
Ghosts are terrorising the village. Everyone is worried their dead loved ones are not getting to enjoy their afterlife.

An amateur mage is just trying to summon their dead child just once because they regret that they never got to say they were proud of them.
A gelatinous cube has swallowed the remains of a magical creature and has become sentient. It is guilt ridden and tries to help the villagers by cleaning the at night. It just isn't very good at it yet.

A villager gets you to protect it from the mob, so it can learn our ways.
