Why is Mohammed Jaffer playing dirty games in the LPG sector? Why is he replicating what he did with the grain import and storage in the importation and storage of gas?

Maize and other grains are expensive because if the monopoly that GrainBulk Handlers has been enjoying for many years and now he has been trying to block all other players in the industry!

Can't he live and let others live?

The same guy purchased land in Tororo on which he had planned to build a CFS where all Uganda cargo was to be cleared from,he is the master of all MONOPOLIES and he uses Government officials through bribes,Uganda refused to play ball and now he is stuck with the 200 acres in Ug

He tried,during Kikwete's Presudency to have the Port of Dar lease a part of the Port of Dar so he could build a car terminal and he had planned to have a 25 year concession to have a monopoly to handle cars for all those years,kikwete could hear none of that nonsense!

And now here he is with this nonsense in the LPG importation,storage and supply

He is fighting all the small scale importers in all ways possible,even using some influencers(who are also consumers who will be exploited by him through the monopoly)

We are in a free market economy which is not free!

This man owns AGOL and doesn't want any competition and many companies have fallen along the way through intimidation,bribery of NEMA and other organs just for him to have the monopoly and the consumer to be exploited

Mansa and Mombasa Gas Terminal were stopped from putting up a gas storage facility at Liwatoni,a move that has denied the Govt billions in taxes

Back hand tactics were used and now the project has been stopped,well,he boasts of having many government officials in his pockets

All the Somali businessmen who have for many years been importing gas from Ndola and Tanga have been ,through ERC policies,frustrated by Jaffar and his cohorts in the Ministry of Energy

He made sure ISO TANKS are banned so that he could keep small time importers out of the biz

The question that even the CS Energy blinds himself from is why are all the other players ineligible to handle gas import/storage but only his company!

Those underhand tactics are meant to keep only him in the market so that he can keep on exploiting Kenyans
