The book is renowned as one of the greats of its time, adaptations up until now haven’t given it justice.

I have faith in Denis Villeneuve who got more freedom to pitch his vision of the book to the audience, he’s called it “Star Wars for adults”. He wrote it, directed it and produced it. Star Wars fans will be hungry for something like this a year after The Rise of Skywalker

What’s he done before you ask? PRISONERS, SICARIO, ARRIVAL and BLADE RUNNER 2019 to name a few. If you haven’t seen those beautiful, award winning films then go watch them and be dazzled.

Another producer of the film is Mary Parent (PLEASANTVILLE, THE REVENANT etc)

Screenplay is by Eric Roth (FORREST GUMP, A STAR IS BORN, HOUSE OF CARDS etc) and Jon Spaihts who did DOCTOR STRANGE most notably

Now I’m not going to lie and say I’ve seen all the films of every cast member, but let me narrow it down to the ones who I’ve chosen to watch at least one film of and can safely recommend based on their performance on top of what I’ve heard about them.

Let me kick off with ZENDAYA, my favourite young actress in the world, if you don’t know who she is in 2019 then I’m surprised you have twitter. She’s best known for her lead role in EUPHORIA and she’s featured in the latest SPIDERMAN films.

Honestly, she’s so stunning I would pay to watch her on the big screen without all the aforementioned names. A role model, but I’ll save that for another thread lol.

Next up, TIMOTHEE FUCKING CHALAMET, what a man. My favourite young actor in the world (INTERSTELLAR, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, LADY BIRD, BEAUTIFUL BOY etc). He also happens to be a very good looking chap.

I don't know much about this woman admittedly but she deserves a mention- Rebecca Ferguson, two of the latest MISSION IMPOSSIBLE films, THE GREATEST SHOWMAN etc

OSCAR ISAAC (all 3 films in the latest STAR WARS trilogy, ANNIHILATION, voice in SPIDERMAN INTO THE SPIDERVERSE, DRIVE, EX MACHINA and many more)

Josh Brolin (NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, SICARIO, the latest AVENGERS films, DEADPOOL 2, OLDBOY etc)

Stellan Skarsgard (GOOD WILL HUNTING, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, MAMMA MIA! films, AVENGERS films etc)

DAVE BAUTISTA aka BATISTA (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, BLADE RUNNER 2049, the latest AVENGERS films, playable character in GEARS 5, many accolades in WWE etc)

As you can see a lot of these talented people have worked together on many masterpieces before so there’s potential Dune could be a 5 star classic.
