Notifications blowing up & its impossible to respond to every vitriolic comment. Here's some clarity:

- Paedophilia is a sexual attraction pattern that shares common features with other sexual orientations

- Paedophilia often motivates, but is not synonymous with child abuse...

.... and so to advocate for protections for people with attractions to child (based on their unchosen orientation) says nothing about one's views about child abuse or rape.

- If it even needs to be said, child abuse and rape is an abhorrent crime....

.... those who engage in such criminal acts should be prosecuted and sentenced to the fullest extent of the law.

- None of this negates the fact that minor-attracted people face massive stigma, which prevents and discourages them from coming forward for support....

.... - support that could improve their sense of wellbeing and self worth, making it easier for them to live happy and (most importantly) crime-free lives.

To insist on stigma and hatred for the purpises of moral grandstanding does absolutely nothing to protect children.
