So today is Bisexual Visibility day. I am very glad there is now a day dedicated to validating the existence of Bi/Pan people because we are often erased and cast aside by everyone (including people within the queer community).
In honor of this I want to anwser all the dumb...
questions Bi/Pan people get asked the other 364 days of the year.
*to a man* Oh your gay, just come out it's fine- No just because I like men too does not mean I don't like women
*to a woman* Oh it's ok your just experimenting- No my identity is valid stop belittling it...
So do you always have to date a man and a woman?- No thats polyamory, thats a different thing, many Bi people are monogamous just like you
I could never date a Bi person, I would always be afraid they are cheating on me- Being Bi has nothing to do with how likely you are to cheat
So do you like...have a bunch of threesomes and orgies?- Again being Bi has nothing to do with the kind of sex I have, sexual identity and sexual preference are two different things.
Also, a Bi person in a committed monogamous relationship is still Bi, just because...
they are committed to a man/woman does not mean they stop being attracted to other genders, please stop assuming the sexuality of the queer or straight couples you meet.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk and have a Gay day🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🌈
