You know what made fangirling easier on my heart & less stressful for me? Putting a stop on the need to be validated by others that you&
#39;re a TRUE fan. You know your heart better than they do. If you happen to admire other artists and post about them, that&
#39;s not a betrayal.
That&
#39;s a freedom you need to be a happier fangirl. If I happen to gush about an actor or actress they don&
#39;t particularly care about, it&
#39;s okay if they hate it. It&
#39;s okay if they cringe. Lol. They can unfollow or mute and that&
#39;s also okay. I understand.
What&
#39;s not okay is to go after someone for admiring someone else other than the artist you mutually love. You don&
#39;t get to dictate who other people support or lift up. Our tastes doesn&
#39;t have to perfectly match to respect one another.
