It stands out to me in the Case of Beasts book that Dan Fogler says that Jacob partly wants the loan "because he wants a family."

Yet in COG, Jacob puts that dream off, because in Jacob's own words "if we get married, they will throw you into prison, sweetheart." #jakweenie

He put off his own dream for Queenie! He could have just been selfish and married her anyway, but he didn't!

That's true love. This ship is massively underappreciated.
