Nowadays, people rely more on Rashi (Zodiac signs) but in Ramayan/Mahabharat, you will see planetary positions in terms of Nakshtra being discussed more frequently. Raja Dashrath said kings die and kingdoms fall when Saturn enters Rohini. There are aspects from/on Nakshatras. 1/3

E.g. Raja Dashrath said to Lord Ram that his astrologer had told him that his "Nakshatra" was surrounded by Sun, Mars and Rahu etc., and in such cases, king either dies or is caught by conspiracy, so he requested Ram to take over as King. We know what followed soon. 2/3

Dashrath planned to handover kingdom to Ram in Pushya Nakshatra (may be due to Muhurt).

Last it moved there on 21-22 May 2001. On 1st June, royal family in Nepal was massacred. Before that it did so in 1971 when Bangladesh was carved out after war.

According to astronomical calculations made by few learned people, Mahabharat, the mother of all the battles, too happened when Saturn afflicted Rohini Nakshatra.
