Last night the great folks who run the musical theater singalongs at @Porterscardiff threw a special one-off night for our #HisDarkMaterials crew.

FaceTime is the WORST thing you can give me in a pub singalong. I called @LacketyLac as we sang The Greatest Showman:

A Star Is Born? GOTS to sing Shallow at the top of my lungs w @ARamosofficial and a crowded bar!

My dad, during Defying Gravity: “WHERE ARE YOU????”

“A WHOLE NEW WORRRRRRRRLD”
(If you’d told 10 year old me I’d be drunk dialing Menken...)

My sister just started singing “Do A Deer” with me INSTANTLY, like the Von Trapps our parents made us

“I AM BRAVE, I AM BRUISED, I AM-whoa @benjpasek you look NICE where are you GOING?”

Then after the last tune, we sent a pic of @fvmero to her hero @melissafumero. She sent a nice message back!

Got in a cab home, FaceTimed my kids [pic redacted], ate a bag of *checks notes* pork scratchings I do NOT remember buying and got up 5 hours later for my 6:30am ride to set.
Totally worth it.
