It wasn't a date. Deku had to keep telling himself that. Otherwise, he started to get stupidly giddy and giggly, which didn't go unnoticed by Kacchan. Walking through the dimly lit hallway, trailing a couple steps behind Kacchan, as usual, Deku was happy, nonetheless. Might not
have been a date but he did have a lot of fun with Kacchan. It'd been so long since they had been able to hang out like this. First, they'd gone to the mall to find some heavier training weights; got some food, some crepes and some ice cream before ending the night strolling
through the city. Time had quickly gotten away from them. They were so lost in their conversation (and each other, really) that by the time he bothered checking his watch, he was alarmed to find it was three hours past their curfew. Kacchan hadn't seemed to care about that -
rather, he seemed more annoyed at the whole thing but had begrudgingly agreed it was time to head back. Thankfully, they got into the dorms without being found. Deku glanced up at Kacchan's broad shoulders. He worried his lower lip between his teeth. It wasn't a date. As much as
he wanted it to be, this wasn't a date. Sure, there had been weird moments throughout the night - like Kacchan pushing in close, their shoulders bumping together; Kacchan grabbing his wrist to yank his crepe over so he could steal a bite, not once breaking eye contact with Deku
as he chomped down - not with a gaze that was daring him to stop him but...teasing, playful, making his heart nearly beat straight out of his chest; Kacchan getting annoyed when he wandered off to far from his side; Kacchan repeatedly brushing his hand against Deku's; Kacchan
taking a lot of pictures of him throughout the night...Kacchan doing a whole lot of stuff that was flustering and confusing but what he knew did not equal to date. They weren't dating, after all. Kacchan might've said that he liked him too back when Deku had awkwardly confessed
to him a couple weeks ago but! He was sure that Kacchan just meant that as a friend, which was good enough for him. It wasn't like someone as brilliant, as amazing as Kacchan would ever like him back in the same way that he liked him. He should be (and was) happy that he wanted
to hang out with him, considering that just a short while ago, they could barely speak to one another. It was a miracle that, after all they had been through, that they could spend a night together like this. The only bad part about tonight was that it was ending. He wished they
didn't have a curfew so they could have stayed together even longer. They reached his dorm far too quickly. Sighing internally, Deku came to a stop, one hand already resting on the doorknob. Not wanting to show Kacchan how disappointed he was that their night out was ending,
Deku smiled brightly (or as brightly as he could manage), 'Thank you for inviting out with me tonight, Kacchan. I had a lot of fun.'
Kacchan just snorted, shoving his hands in his pockets, 'You had better.' He paused for moment, fidgeting, his brows lowered, mouth turned down in
frown, then said, 'What do you wanna do this weekend?'
'Huh?' Deku responded, surprised.
Shooting him an irritated look, 'I'm asking, what do you want to do this weekend?'
'We're going to hang out again?' Deku couldn't keep the excitement out of his voice.
Kacchan's expression
became even more irritated. Clicking his tongue, he snarled, 'What kind of stupid response is that? Do you want to or not, nerd?'
'I do!' Deku exclaimed, a huge smile on his face, a flush of incredible, golden warmth blooming in his chest. Kacchan wanted to hang out with him
again! He got to hang out with Kacchan again! Bouncing on the balls of his feet, certain that he was not going to get any sleep tonight, Deku just barely noticed the weird, almost pleased look Kacchan was giving him. Maybe Kacchan was also happy that they had their friendship
back? Yeah, that had to be it! Giggling, Deku said, 'I don't know what I want to do right now so lets get together sometime on Friday and we can decide then.'
'Okay, better start thinking about it now, nerd.'
'I will.' Deku nodded, unable to wipe the smile off his face. He was
so happy, he felt like he was floating. He could hardly bring himself to turn away but he knew he would say something stupid if he kept standing there so, with his heart fluttering, he said softly, 'Goodnight, Kacchan. I'll see you tomorrow.'
'Yeah, goodnight.' Kacchan murmured.
Deku turned, his gaze sliding down as he opened the door. There was a flicker of movement in front of him, one he assumed was Kacchan walking away. So when two big, calloused, hot hands gently cupped the sides of his head, he jumped. Jerking his head up, he had just enough time
see that Kacchan hadn't walked off and now, his face was very, very close then Kacchan tugged him up just a little as he was dipping down even further. All the air vanished from his lungs in one whoosh. Smooth, firm lips pressed to his own in a sweet kiss. Deku went completely
still. His heart leapt up into his throat. His eyes widened to an almost comical size. A powerful heat seized hold of his body, turning the cool hallway into a furnace. Kacchan...Kacchan was kissing him! Moving slowly, cautiously, almost as though he had no idea what he was
doing, Kacchan's lips slid and smoothed over his. It...it felt amazing. His lips felt so wonderful! Eyes fluttering closed, Deku let out a slow breath through his nose, melting into Kacchan's hold, Kacchan's kiss. He really had no idea what to do - this was his first kiss but he
mimicked Kacchan's movements as best he could. Kacchan inhaled sharply. He pushed more insistently against Deku, tugging him even closer. Their bodies pressed flushed together. His hands landed on Kacchan's muscular chest. Intense heat bled through the fabric to sink into his
skin. When he pulled in a deep breath, it was full of Kacchan's scent - sweet glycerin and something bitter...he was instantly addicted, sucking in even more of that incredible scent.
The kiss lasted an eternity but was over far too soon. Pulling away with a ragged breath,
Kacchan kissed the corner of his lips. His muscular arms slipped down to pull him into a powerful embrace. Sighing happily, Deku buried his face into the curve of Kacchan's broad shoulder. His mind was completely blank. He was so utterly content and peace right there that he
almost whined when Kacchan pulled away. Smiling slightly, his face flushed, red eyes sparkling with playful glee, Kacchan chuckled, brushed the pad of his thumb over the curve of Deku's cheek and murmured, 'See you later, nerd.'
With that, he placed one more chaste kiss to Deku's
lips and reached down to gently grope the curve of his ass, wrenching a startled, embarrassingly high pitched yelp out of him, which was met with a delighted, husky chuckle and another quick kiss then Kacchan walked off, leaving Deku standing there, mouth hanging open, his heart
about one beat away from launching itself straight out of his stupidly gaping mouth, his mind wildly sputtering. K-Kiss. KISS. KISS! KACCHAN FUCKING KISSED HIM! Mutely turning, he walked into his dorm, closed the door and sunk down to the floor, his hands covering his burning
face. His first kiss...had been with Kacchan! It...Deku giggled deliriously, falling over onto his side. It was a dream come true. Fuck...Deku brushed the tips of his fingers against his lips. He could still feel Kacchan's lips on his. This...this was bad. He was so happy, he
might die!
What...what did this mean, though? Were...were they actually going out?! Deku sprang upright, his eyes stretched open wide. That...there was no other explanation! He...he and Kacchan...
They were really dating!!!
Not pictured: Kacchan collapsing onto his bed, about three seconds away from blowing up his dorm because god fucking damn, Deku was too fucking cute! It felt so fucking good to kiss him! He wanted to kiss him even more, god fuck!
That is also the end! 🤯
