Interested in the first phone that will last at least 4-5 generations before having to be replaced.

I& #39;d also like companies to keep software up to date without forced slow downs.

All hardware should be bought back & recycled & the money goes towards the new phone.
These companies are pretending like they& #39;re not contributing to our eco-crisis in addition to their near slave labor wages.
"A new kind of cell phone pollution - and this one is silent. Within three years, Americans will discard about 130 million cellular telephones a year, and that means 65,000 tons of trash, including toxic metals and other health hazards, a study says." CBS News (May 8, 2002)
"In the US, more than 16 billion pounds of e-waste were discarded in 2014, or roughly 50 pounds per person. By the end of 2018, e-waste is expected to grow to 50 million tons annually." https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/content/recycle-cellphones-ewaste-what-happens/">https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/conten...
Ask Apple & Samsung and all the other big companies what& #39;s their stance on up-cycling their tech and reducing the damage caused by the materials used on the environment & the public.
Upcycling could be a whole new industry. So much innovation and possibilities. Plus giving the Earth time to recover from humanity.
