I was planning to join Melty discord because well, there's history with the game. I started playing again. The last time I TOUCHED this game was Re-ACT with my brother. Hisouten has its history and I got into it last year... The people I know today I probably wouldn't w/o it.

I never saw this stuff in the Discords but you know... This "data?" After it was posted, I decided to do digging on the recent occurrences as opposed to the history that may not have been purged from it. Hisouten was using the words as late as 12-1AM unapologetically via Discord.

Melty had long since changed their TOS and purged a decent amount of problematic people or deterred those willing to join and spew it. These were testaments from friends and the last occurrence was MONTHS ago. Since then, it's been real quiet, but you know.. the history is there.

The thing is, this research uses the hard R. I'm not shocked, because the Hisouten discord went out of their way after the data showed up saying "How is it possible the Def Jam community doesn't say that word?"

Maybe because they're decent humans and not trying to be trash??

What's really got me heated was, "THIS IS ONLY SATIRE GUYS IT WASNT MEANT TO BE REAL"

No. It isn't. That's REAL data you chose to inflate and spew propaganda with. That is VERY much real. The fact that you put a community who STILL actively drops slurs like that on a pedestal?

I'm mainly on this comparison.

There's people who likely won't even think twice to scroll down the thread to see your "joke."

There:s people who already took what they needed to for this.

There's people who are condemning several Discords for things they have long since fixed.

What this did was rile up people because you wanted to make the comparison. You for some GODFORSAKEN REASON did it maliciously in a time where the game was being pushed for positivity.

You succeeded and now this is the result—

A bunch of people hating on a group long since fixing issues and continuing to improve their community in great strides.

That's what I'm heated about. Last night was whatever. Seeing this? This morning?? Nah. I'm done with bullshit like this. This was so unbelievably wack.

Honestly, my shoutouts go to @ShamanlordGG because I likely would have never realized how deep this went and how prevalent it is.

@JoeyBagODonuts8 and @TheGatekeeper24 for keeping the Def Jam Discord strong and having clear cut rules to keep that community thriving.

Lastly, to no Discord in particular but relevant if you've been at it, thank you for improving. Thank you for building and strengthening your community above hate, malice and using terms that are just horribly wrong.

I likely won't use the Discords in their comparison until I feel comfortable enough and my anger winds down. I'm almost 100% leaving the main Hisouten discord because I wasn't active recently and with this, I DEFINITELY don't wanna be associated with it. It feels like self-hate.
